My name is Leslie and I am a 21 year-old, now senior at Texas Christian University in Ft. Worth, TX. I am a nursing major and have never been so excited to get up at 5 a.m. to maybe get the opportunity to start an IV, see a delivery, hold a baby or simply the opportunity to make a patient feel better (or worse after they freak out when I introduce myself as the “student nurse”). I grew up in Colorado and still consider Denver and the beautiful Rocky Mountains my home. My parents moved to Charlotte, North Carolina 3 years ago and I’m just starting to love it there. My family has a unique layout with two ”sets”- my older sister and I (who are 15months apart) and the younger set who came after a giant 10 year gap. I love the Lord and love to see His faithfulness throughout every step of my life.
